We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results. Job TitleSenior Network EngineerOverviewoDevelops new and modifies existing networks in support of application servicesoAdvises the business on priorities for network design and implementationoManages network infrastructure projects to ensure security, availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability.oManage multiple network infrastructure projects simultaneouslyResponsibilitiesoUses project management methodologies to implement network projectsoCoordinates with multiple internal Mastercard and external supplier teams to implement technical networking activitiesoManages customer interaction to implement network projectsoBuilds and maintains networks for production and pre-production environments; assists in the development of requirements for upgrading existing Mastercard networksoEvaluates current networks and applications to formulate recommendations for potential infrastructure design improvementsoResolves problems of diverse scopes as they arise, escalating complex issues where analysis of the situation requires in-depth evaluation and judgmentoManage small-sized initiatives and assists in the planning of large scale network projectsExperiencesoExperience in managing networking and IT infrastructure projectsoHands on experience on Cisco Switching and Routing using Cisco equipment.oPreference for Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification R&S (CCNP Routing and Switching) OR above certifications is required.oMust have worked on the following protocols: TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, TACACS+, Policy-based routing.oMust have experience with MPLS, broadband, satellite (VSAT), leased lines and wireless technologies.oKnowledge of project management methodologies; Prince2/PMP preferredoExperience of working with local and global service providers.oAbility to multi-task on multiple projects effectively while setting priorities and meeting deadlines.COVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know were all in this together. In many locations, which may change over time, weve implemented a virtual hiring process and continue to interview candidates by video or phone.
