Job Location: Dubai, U.A.E. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will act as the lead technical authority on all matters related to Mechanical engineering on a prestigious corporate building project reporting to the Technical Manager.Job Duties? Ensure Quality Assurance/Quality control processes have been incorporated in the design? Review and develop established standard details and specifications with current market trends? Manage production of standard Mechanical details/specifications? Strategic technical decision making? Understands applicable codes, standards and project contract documents and monitors construction activities (remotely and through the document management system) to ensure compliance with contract documents.? Interprets or clarifies technical aspects of contract documents? Ensures that responses to contractors? submittals are complete and in compliance with the contract documents.? Technical responsibility for quality associated with Mechanical design deliverables? Review of all Mechanical submissions to ensure consistency of approach across package? To undertake Mechanical Building Services design review? Represent the company in meetings with Clients and Contractors? Technical Report writing? Engage in Multi discipline coordination ? Prepare technical specifications and mark ups/sketches? Preparation of design calculations using industry standard software when necessary
