Your role:? You are responsible for maritime engineering projects and proposals, during tender stage and post-award.? Develop cost proposals and procedures for executing design work.? Responsible for managing the tender, concept, schematic and detailed design and construction supervision of the marine modifications of various project disciplines, with support of internal design engineer(s).? Develop Value Engineering proposals.? Lead preliminary and detailed designs of marine structures, including developing plans and technical specification documents for both D/B/B (Design?Bid?Build) and D/B (Design?Build) type construction projects, and develop construction cost estimates.? Perform Independent Technical Reviews of structural analysis and design work performed by others, and of their PS&E (Plan, Specs and Estimates) deliverables? Provide technical support during advertising, bidding, and award of a construction contract, reviewing and responding to technical structural Bidder questions, evaluating Bidder-proposed value-engineering substitutions, and evaluating Bids.? Provide technical support during construction reviewing submittals and responding to RFI?s, executing field inspections including punch list and final inspections approving the construction, attending construction progress meetings.Your competencies:? Excellent Analytical thinkingYour profile:? Bachelor?s or Master's degree in Civil, Coastal, or Ocean Engineering;? Minimum 6 years with design of marine structures from port, quay walls, jetties, rock protection, intakes/outfalls;? Experience with design management of marine projects? Structural design background of marine project elements is a plus (decks-abutments-capping beams-piles);? Knowledge in marine studies (DMA-Met Ocean-Scour analysis);? Experience and knowledge of marine engineering and design phase planning and construction;?
