Job Description

Our DIFC based client is looking for an experienced Compliance individual with a law degree (Qualified/Certified Lawyer who has a strong understanding/experience with regulatory bodies such as DFSA, FCA and preferably with experience of working within the DIFC.   • Responsibility for all Compliance, AML Risk, Legal matters
  • Act as the main point of contact for the regulatory authorities
  • Develop and draft rules and policies in line with regulatory obligations and observance of international standards, e.g., IOSCO, ESMA, FAFTF and FSB
  • Manage and mentor the team
  • Provide expert legal advice on all local and international laws affecting the organization and its operations. Seek external legal advice as required
  • Responsible for all contract and document reviews and insurance policy reviews
  • Expert, timely, high quality legal advice is provided to the business referring to relevant laws to meet business needs
