We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in visitor attraction management who is able to work in a team to develop visitor services and event operations for a number of exhibitions in coordination with the staff leading on the design of those spaces, particularly the Director of Exhibitions, and those from Expo 2020 in related departments.The post holder will work alongside other functional areas and will work on developing the operational delivery of specific exhibitions.The main responsibilities for this role include:?- Ensure the exhibitions develop and deliver outstanding operational practice leading to the highest possible standard of visitor experience;- Champion the operational needs and excellence in delivery of the exhibitions across the entire Expo organization;- Ensure that exhibition operations comply with, and support the development of Expo-wide operations;?- Oversee the development and delivery of visitor services for specific exhibitions;- Collaborate closely with the Expo 2020 Event Operations department to ensure that exhibition visitor service provision is coordinated with Expo-wide operations;- Act as client for contracted visitor services and event operations, ensuring that negotiated contracts are suitable for exhibition operation;- Take a proactive leadership role for the exhibitions in planning for, and delivery of readiness testing activities;- Ensure the completion of exhibition operating procedures covering all areas of event operations;- Specify and collaborate with relevant Expo departments to implement required systems (for example ticketing) to support event operations within the exhibitions;- Alongside exhibition leads, take the role of Duty Director for the exhibitions during the event.
