BackgroundThe Ethics & Compliance Department (hereinafter E&C) is a fully empowered and authorized, independent assurance and strategic advisory function with the main objective of ensuring consistent application and dissemination of ethical and anti-corruption/fraud business practices across Careems functions and operations.What youll doThe Role: Careem is searching for a motivated and experienced compliance individual to join E&C Seniority: Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager to be focused on our UAE and GCC markets, this role will be based in the UAE and reports to the Ethics & Compliance Director. This is a senior role and the incumbent will oversee Careems Sanctions Program, Third Party Due Diligence, Communication, Education and Training Program (CET), Conflicts of Interest (COI) declarations as well as other compliance matters. The incumbent will work closely with Senior Management, Legal Team on compliance and policy matters. Competency: The candidate should have a solid experience in corporate compliance including the FCPA preferably in multinational environment.
