Job Description

Role Summary˙The Asset Management Geography Head will execute and lead cross functional processes, change & optimization of processes and data transformation to bring good Asset Management practices in line with strategies & policies laid down by the Corporate Office. This role will drive measurable financial and operational results. The Position works collaboratively with all Functional Heads at Geography and Corporate Asset Management Team. Key objectives to be driven are Asset & data integrity and Asset value maximization.˙Role Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices related to Asset management working closely with functional Teams across the Business to optimise commercial and technical performance of Assets.
  • Work with Geography Teams and keep an oversite of Asset data and take initiatives to improve and sustain quality of this data.
  • Design & deploy benefit driven Level 4 Asset Management processes.
  • Drive Asset tagging, at Sites and in Warehouses, in collaboration with Geography Operations & Supply Chain Teams.
  • Working with Geography Teams on Site Audits and using the data to coordinate reconciliation of Assets at Sites.
  • Working with Supply Chain Teams to ensure Assets are serialised on receipt, conducting perpetual audits and ensuring that corrective actions are taken.
  • Working with Operations Teams to understand reasons for gaps and taking measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Working with IT Team to facilitate implementation of SAP across locations, including writing Functional Requirements, attending Demo Sessions, Show & Tell Sessions, conducting Hands on UATs and providing sign off. Act as Master User for SAP.
  • Contribute to operational plans and budgets, controls and analyse performance of operating Assets against approved budgets.
  • Maintain and ensure Asset Management activities are undertaken in accordance with local legislation and IHS HSE requirements.
  • Develop Asset Management related business cases & Investment Appraisals, locally.
  • Define Asset management master data categories, assign ownership and drive rationalization of duplicate data sets.
  • Suggest ideas to optimise processes through automation, simplification, and standardization.
  • Developing metrics for measuring the success of Asset management improvement projects and delivering those results to leadership.
  • Work with Country Finance, Shared Services, IT, Operations and other relevant Departments to drive Asset life optimisation and value maximisation.
