Senior Internal Audit OfficerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Audit Planning: Assist in Developing and executing risk-based annual audit plans.•Collaborate with line manager to identify key areas of risk and concern.•Audit Execution: Lead and conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, risk management, and governance processes.•Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.•Present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee.•Risk Assessment: Evaluate the organization’s risk management processes and provide recommendations for improvement.•Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, internal policies and industry standards.•Fraud Detection and Investigation: Assist in investigations into allegations of fraud, waste, or misconduct.•Recommend precautionary measures and controls to prevent and detect fraudulent activities.Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.•Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.•Experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related fields.•Proficiency in audit management software and data analytics tools.•Advance computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.•Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports•Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and auditing standards.•Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•High attention to details and ability to work independently and under pressure.
