Join us and lets get started. AECOM UAE is looking for a highly creative and enthusiastic Senior Graphic Designer to join our Design + Planning team based in our Abu Dhabi or Dubai office. Our team includes urban designers, planners and landscape architects working on urban and landscape master plans through to major transformative city and regional strategies. The successful candidate will have excellent creative and communications skills, interpreting team and Clients needs to deliver effective design solutions, with high visual impact, across a range of print materials including but not limited to:

• Large-scale design reports and bid documents
• Printed presentation and exhibition materials
• Coordinating team inputs
• Coordinating printers and printed materials

Job Duties

• Provide professional graphic design support across the Design team
• Work as part of an integrated team of designers
• Participate in the full lifecycle of projects, from design brief to production
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Think strategically to ensure cohesive messaging and visual identity
• Establish, organise and maintain graphic/document templates and resource libraries
• Brief and liaise with printers
• Assist with creative preparation of bid/tender submissions

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of work experience
• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in Graphic Design or a relevant subject.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills and expertise, with a strong portfolio (experience working for a similar architectural or design practice highly desirable)
• Thorough knowledge of up-to-date software in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office software
• Self-motivated and able to carry out duties with minimum supervision in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, as well as a clear understanding of tasks and timing associated with meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills (written, verbal and presentational).
• Curation of visual storyline and graphics for multiple projects
• Animated presentation graphics
• Strong visual identity and branding skills
• Exposure to architecture, urban design or digital software skills a plus
