Job Description

We haveanexcitingopportunityforan experienced Field Trainer to be based within the KMEA Front Line.Reporting to the Team Leader- Training Delivery the successful candidate will lead, direct, evaluate, and develop teams of training professionals to ensure that the KONE?s training and development strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets.Responsibilities:Training delivery

  • Train proactively and coach field operatives in the Training Center and/or on-site
  • Conduct training to develop the competencies of non-technical people who need to understand technical topics in their work
  • Seek and experiment with new learning methods in the training
Training planning and recording
  • Participate in the training planning and training catalog creation
  • Have your own training created and all training records (participants, results, materials) updated in konelearning.com
Localization of technical documents and training materials
  • Localize global instructions and training content to match the local needs (incl. translation, and proof-reading)
  • Maintain and proof-read the translation of Containment and Retrofit letters and product-related documentation
Communication
  • Ensure changes to codes, methods, products, and training materials are communicated to the Field operatives and part-time Field Trainers.
  • Take part in field reference groups to gather and share information
Competence development
  • Support competence development surveys, assessments, and other ways to find out the competence development needs
  • Support and actively participate in new employee induction, site inspections, and audits
  • Be a role model for a service mindset
Safety and assessment
  • Be a role model for safety
  • Participate in the incident or severe near miss investigations together with the Safety Manager
  • Is capable to observe risky methods in use and able to act accordingly to remove the risk
  • Observe and evaluate safety and method passport assessments
Own professional development
  • Regularly attend Train-the-Trainer courses on new products, solutions, and methods organized by global/area functions
  • Have up-to-date knowledge on new products, solutions, and methods as well as safety risks and recent incidents in your own knowledge area
  • Develop own training skills and knowledge of new learning methods
  • Do commissioning and troubleshooting in the field to keep your own knowledge and skills at a good level

  • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role with a good technical understanding of KONE and non-KONE products
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, attentive to detail, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully working with cross-functional teams and matrix management.
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Flexible to travel across the KMEA region.
