Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Working with external stakeholders such as service providers or payment gateways for new integrations, supporting the current integrations or debugging production issues.
  • Supporting the Product Manager with the roadmap by researching new solutions, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective solution for the systems/program design, and keeping industry standards and best practices in mind.
  • Managing product backlog and sprints by creating user stories and checking storyboards and tasks assigned to ensure that the team develops and releases all required actions as per the sprint plan.
  • Prepare and generate reports requested by the product manager, top management or DOF.
  • Support DOF and service providers in case of technical issues or bugs in the systems.
  • Monitor the health of the system and work with the concerned teams in case of any production issues.
  • Planning and managing the releases with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that all prerequisites are fulfilled in terms of connectivity, configurations, etc...
  • Overseeing the design and development of the appropriate software solutions in line with incoming user requirements and business specifications.
  • Evaluating requests for new or updated functionalities or features and analysing specifications to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with the current system and computer capabilities; to develop comprehensive feasibility studies accordingly.
  • Identifying and mapping system dependencies to ensure the new modifications or updates do not negatively affect the current application environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience in project management (design, development, and release management of application software)
  • Experience in digital payment solutions / financial technologies (FinTech)
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology would be an added advantage
  • 8+years of relevant experience.
