Aim of the positionThe European Distribution Leader is a key role in the organization that provides strategic corporate support for distributor relationships, resulting in mutually profitable growth. The European Distribution Leader drives the relationship with key pan European Distributors working with them to improve Honeywell?s share of wallet within those accounts. They should drive mutual business plans that deliver growth for both the distributor and Honeywell and holds our Regional Distribution Managers accountable to using Honeywell processes to drive the regional Distributors at a local level to deliver business results. In addition, the EDL should act as a mentor to Regional DMs driving growth in other Distributors. This position reports to the European Sales & Marketing Director. This position requires a highly motivated, self-confident individual of the highest integrity who possesses a wide range of knowledge, skills, and abilities.ResponsibilitiesDrive Portfolio expansion with key Channel Partners.Position Honeywell Safety Products as first choice for Personal Protective Equipment.Build and implement Key Account Plans (business potential, NPI, contact lists, competition, value proposition and action plan) to cross sell /up sell, defend existing positions, and fuel growth.Responsible for formulation and development of marketing plans on a European and regional base.Meet/Exceed Orders and Revenue target with assigned pan European DistributorsExchange regularly with Key Distribution Accounts, sharing and developing Monthly Business Reviews, including POS analysis.Measure current sales within Key Distribution Accounts and develop action plans to increase sales revenue in line with customer growth targetsLaunch and execute Promotional initiativesIntroduce NPIs and develop stocking levelsLead complex contract negotiationsEngage and communicate with distribution managers in the regions to ensure seamless knowledge about strategy and executionLead and manage large European tender and define pricing strategies
