ROLE PURPOSE:The purpose of this role is to design interior spaces in accordance with client requirements. It is the role of the Senior Designer to ensure that the final design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also meets functional and safety requirements.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:DESIGN:The purpose of this role is to design interior spaces in accordance with client requirements. It is the role of the Senior Designer to ensure that the final design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also meets functional and safety requirements.PROJECT MANAGEMENT:Understand clients needs and the needs of the people using the building.Consider materials and costs according to budgets.Responsible for ensuring that all designs meet municipality requirements ? knowledge of UAE regulations is essential.Survey sites personally as required.TEAMWORK & COMMUNICATION:Ensure regular communication with the Design Team, Engineers, Project Managers and Procurement.Be freely available for team members during working hours.On weekends be mindful of any pending project deadlines and assist as appropriate.GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:Monitor emails daily and reply to all emails received on working days by the close of business each day.For emails received over holidays or weekends use own discretion in relation to providing timely and professional feedback to the original sender.All files and data must be backed up every day to the server.
