The job holder will support the Director with client meetings, presentations and all aspects of design including the quality of design, maintaining the companys reputation and standards. They will lead junior members of the team where required and be responsible for delivering creative, high quality design concepts in line with project briefings from the client.They will need to work closely with the Director and sales, supporting them at meetings, to build relationships with clients, enhancing the chances of securing projects and once awarded, maintaining good relationships thereafter. They will coordinate with the Commercial Team, to assess and price viable business opportunities, offering support to prioritise workloads according to likelihood of winning the job. They will be responsible for their individual productivity and performance as well as any junior team members assigned to them. They will maintain control and awareness of their projects, ensuring everyone involved is working to the best of their ability and in a positive manner. They will liaise with QS, Site Managers, Contractors and Project Managers on all aspects of design, organising and coordinating the production of construction drawings. Regularly attend Management/Sales meetings and ensure work in progress documents are up-to-date to successfully meet all target dates in terms of Design. They will also suggest ways of alleviating issues within design and help improve the company processes as well as look for new and cutting edge design ideas and products to help the Company maintain an edge in the competitive market. Keeping up to date with the?latest trends in technology and interior design, through constant research in both local and international market, sharing ideas with the team, avoiding frequent repetition of materials, furniture and fixture to specify.??
