Job Description

SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions to support our power and gas trading operations. You will work closely with traders and other stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities and use your expertise in data science to develop innovative solutions that improve decision-making and drive business performance.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics and infrastructure solutions to support power and gas trading operations
  • Collaborate with traders and other stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities
  • Use data science techniques to build predictive models and other solutions that drive value for our organization
  • Develop systematic trading strategies across all our markets.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of analytics solutions, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Lead the development of data strategy and road map for the trading team, including defining data requirements, sourcing and integration, and governance
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts on the team
