Job Description

To contribute to the development and roll-out of the group wide Data Protection strategy and program, develop frameworks and roadmaps to effectively implement the Group?s approach to data protection and provide advice on data protection and privacy across the group in compliance with local, federal and international data protection laws, regulations and relevant codes of practice.

  • Provide professional expertise and advice to the business in order to raise awareness and understanding of the legal implications in the case of breaching the data privacy and data protection laws.
  • Provide expert privacy advice on the consumer protection regulation and any other relevant upcoming legislation(s)
  • Review contracts to verify they regulate the use of personal data correctly and in line with the laws, Insert data processing agreements and write data protection clauses as needed.
  • Undertake data privacy assessments where required , highlight potential risks and recommend appropriate actions to eliminate breach of the data privacy laws and policies
