Job Description

Job Overview:As Sr. Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Engineer ? Post-Contract, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the to prepare and/or review and endorse cost estimates of different levels of accuracy depending on the maturity of project definition during the various stages of the project life.Responsibilities:

  • Review the ongoing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the gaps in the project requirements.
  • Keep on track the accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out projects, considering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project scope, identify potential challenges, and gather necessary information for estimation purposes.
  • Review and analyze post-tender documents, execution stage highlighting any deviations, risks, or opportunities.
Contract Administration:
  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the legal department to develop and finalize contracts, including scope of work, schedules, payment terms, and project milestones.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations, deadlines, and deliverables are clearly defined and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and monitor contract performance, addressing any variations or changes to scope and ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Resolve contract-related issues, disputes, and claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents, correspondence, and project-related documentation.
  • Raise the variation orders.
  • Draft the contracts and agreements for the subcontractors.
Project Support:
  • Provide ongoing support to project teams, addressing any contractual queries, clarifications, or changes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule.
  • Monitor project costs, analyzing any discrepancies and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and resolving any issues.
