Job Description

Our ClientA globally recognized fintech that offers a cross-border payment gateway and payment aggregation facility.Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading and overseeing the execution of all regulatory matters with regulatory bodies in the GCC regions including regulatory licensing applications, registrations, and/or filings, with clear roadmaps and action plans
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with external key stakeholders e.g., the Government, regulatory bodies, and third-party suppliers, to facilitate and formulate aligned positions on regulatory issues
  • Be responsible to timely and accurately interpret and advise on applicable laws and regulations in GCC regions without heavy reliance on third parties
  • Work independently and/or with internal stakeholder to develop, implement, maintain, review, and update our compliance documentation e.g., policies, SOPs, monitoring programs, training materials
  • Support the seniors in preparing regular reports/presentations in relation to regulatory updates, compliance risks, and strategic direction with feasible suggested solutions, to the Senior Management
  • Be responsible to work with business leads to identify and collate relevant information to respond to requests for information from financial institutions, auditors and regulators/enforcement agencies in a timely way
Your Qualifications
  • A Bachelor?s Degree or above
  • Fintech payment institutions/Central Banks/Regulators background preferred
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate concepts into clear steps which are easily readable and understandable, and communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to thrill in a super-fast-paced, changing environment; relentless innovator. Always challenges status-quo and champions best-in-class technical solutions and problem-solving
  • Self-motivated with proven capability to work independently and continually calibrate priorities with minimal supervision
  • Adapt to and willing to embrace challenges for cultural differences and time zones
  • Native in English (Arabic-proficient will be a strong plus)
