Job Description

Job Purpose:The role holder is esponsible for supporting the implementation of PR, social media and internal communications tactics for all brands under TECOM Group as well as the corporate level communications. The role holder is expected to maintain high level of partner engagement and liaise internally and with the PR and digital agencies to grow TECOM Group?s presence by promoting the company?s corporate initiatives, brands and supporting the strategic communication outreach.Key Accountabilities:Social Media:

  • Support the development and implementation of TECOM group?s PR and social media strategies and long-term plan to manage and grow TECOM business unit presence across target media outlets as well as relevant social media channelsEnsure that the social media plan is in full alignment with the internal guidelines and enable a steady flow of information about corporate and business unit PR initiatives, news and announcements
  • Work with Marketing Branding & Service and the Marketing & Events team to ensure alignment with the Group?s overall marketing and communications objectives (internal and external)
  • Liaise with the appointed vendor on the implementation of the agreed PR and social media strategies
  • Prepare reports on media coverage and social media accounts? statistics and KPIs to support management with monitoring and decision making
  • Manage the central media data base for industries and markets of corporate interest
  • Assist in strengthening TECOM group and subsidiaries content, delivery and reach by research and monitoring relevant stories
Internal Communications:
  • Prepare communication drafts and support the dissemination for TECOM Group this includes activities such as Colleague Communication, Group Announcements, News, Employee Offers and others as required, also ensuring that announcements to media are aligned with internal announcements, and vice versa
  • Support in the engagement of internal employee activities, working with internal stakeholders and internal project teams where necessary
  • Develop, together with the concerned departments, communications portal for shared services and corporate governance
