This role is responsible for?Delivery of the Business Plan:Maximise delivery of sales and profit in line with growth strategy for the category through a robust 360 brand activation plan in coordination with the host brandDevelop, challenge and train the category team to deliver the Business PlanLearnings & InsightsProvide market insights about the category trade sectorEnsure collation of appropriate market data covering product and Market intelligenceIdentify trends and new business opportunities and apply in line with customers expectationsProduct Portfolio ManagementIdentify and implement new product offers that will increase competitiveness and differentiationBe the key source of product knowledge and informationEnsure accurate information to form part of the overall Category Bi Annual ReviewPlan and project manage new brand launchesManage inventory management (new / exclusive / replacement / discontinued / promotional / seasonal / ageing lines)Negotiate with supplier for recommended new lines, price and profit targetIdentify key host brand members and develop a mutually beneficial business relationship with each to deliver new Boots brand productsPromotional & Marketing Plan:Create an annual category marketing plan and strategy for key brandsManage all sales plan information in line with the sales plan timetableRecommend a profitable offer for products within the categoryFinanceReview and implement retail prices that are competitive within the agreed policy and ensure the price architecture reflects product benefits and brand positioning in the marketStock ManagementTo remain within OTB targetTimely management of aging stockWork in partnership with the supply chain team to deliver the best supply chain processes and services, and meet the agreed key performance indicators for stock holdings, aging stock and stock turnMaintain order scheduleForecast 12 months sales/order keeping in mind the current sales trend, stock holding and future plan
