On behalf of our client a multinational trade and investment company that is based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager- Retail/Hospitality. Reporting to the Regional Director for UAE, Oman and Bahrain you will be responsible conducting market research, analysing market data, identifying business opportunities, connecting clients to local businesses, attendng expo/events, arranging and supporting market visits of individuals and groups to the UAE, Oman and Bahrain, support conferences and represent the company in major exhbitions including the forthcoming Expo 2020 in Dubai. You will also arrange meetings and facilitate visit programmes for VIP and Senior visiting officialsThe successful candidate must be a resident of the UAE, be degree educated in marketing or business, with at least 4 years regional experience in business development or sales of products/services into UAE retail or hospitality sectors, have recent experince in a commerical environment and understand sales cycles, best route to market and business challenges in the GCC region, experience in trendspotting, interpreting market intelligence, analysisng and presenting data accurately and acting on it bu developing effective strategies for business development with basic knowledg of growth areas in the the technology sector in the GCC
