Job Description

Our client are a leading organisation in the Architecture industry with a presence in over 10+ countries and are looking for a Senior Associate Project Manager for their office in DubaiYou will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects through all aspects of the assignment
  • Presents and discusses planning, design and delivery options and solutions with team and client
  • Duties include evaluating, selecting, and applying techniques, procedures, and criteria for completion of the project. Responsible for quality control supervision of project deliverables
  • Regularly attends client meetings as active participant. Capable of discussing key concepts, options, and solutions. Makes effective verbal presentations and is an essential contributor in client meetings and presentations. Develops effective working relationship with client and clients representatives
  • Supervises and directs co-workers at or below their level. Receives technical guidance and coordination from Principal or VP on unusual or complex problems
  • Accountable for delivering a project on defined budget requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining established billable work ratio
  • Supports the business development process by identifying new opportunities, marketing current clients for repeat business, and assisting with proposals, budgets and schedules
Core Competencies
  • Ability to work with multiple clients developing relationships and leading projects
  • Can build on this knowledge during the course of a project through communications, research and analysis
  • Strong technical skills and can review drawings
  • Strong administration skills including budgeting, writing proposals, writing scope, writing add services dealing with scheduling, dealing with invoicing
  • Ability to manage sub-consultants including negotiating scope and dealing with sub consultancy agreements
  • Ability to manage a team including managing junior associates and delegate work, mentor and possess strong leadership skills
  • Recognizes the financial aspect of a project and basic accounting principals involved in ensuring the projects and firms profitability. Responsible for maintaining established billable work ratio
  • Able to work creatively within a project team environment
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years experience in relevant field with at least 5 years in the region
  • Architectural or Interior Design qualification and background
  • Residential and Hospitality experience
  • Possesses proficiency with computer applications commonly used within the individuals discipline
