You will be reporting directly to the Manager - Expo Young Stars, Expo School ProgrammeContract Duration: 11 monthsCandidates should have arts, performance education or work experience.Candidates who have worked in schools/universities within the arts & performance department will also be considered.?Since the first Great Fair of 1851, World Expos have become one of the world?s largest and oldest mega-events, attracting millions of visitors who explore and discover pavilions, exhibits and cultural events staged by hundreds of participants including nations, international organizations and businesses. The development and delivery of a history changing event requires the harnessing of the best and brightest people to participate on innovative, creative and productive teams.Role DescriptionSenior Associate will be responsible for all rehearsals scheduled with schools participating in Expo Young Stars programme. The Senior Associate will be responsible to attend rehearsals, liaise with the school on any observations made during the rehearsal, address any enquiries the school may have during the rehearsal, and support with schools? preparations for their performances. The Senior Associate will also ensure that all observations made are recorded and relayed to the relevant members of the Expo Young Stars team post their visits.Core Accountabilities(Event Time)? Plan and schedule rehearsals for all participating schools in Expo Young Stars from September onwards.? Visit 2-3 schools per day across the UAE to attend and observe rehearsals.? Support schools with their preparations for their performances from providing feedback on rehearsals, to ensuring that every schools receive their allocated tickets for their performance day.? Record feedback and any major concerns or points of considerations provided to schools during the rehearsal and relay them to relevant functions within Expo 2020.? Address any questions, challenges schools may be facing during their rehearsals or as they prepare for their performances.? Update relevant members of the Expo Young Stars team through live document/excel sheet of all the points that were taken and any major points of considerations that were observed.
