Job Title: Senior Designer - Architecture (Concept & Schematic Design) Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Type: Full-time Experience: 10 yearsAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Designer - Architecture to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a visionary architect who excels in conceptual and schematic design, with a strong portfolio of built and unbuilt projects that demonstrate design excellence, innovation, and contextual sensitivity.As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for leading the early design stages of projects across various typologies, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to shape unique architectural visions and deliver impactful design solutions.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of design concepts and schematic designs for a range of high-profile projects.Translate client briefs and project requirements into compelling architectural narratives.Produce diagrams, and presentations to communicate design intent and coordinateCoordinate with internal teams including technical, BIM, and visualization departments.Participate in design critiques, client presentations, and consultant coordination meetings.Ensure designs adhere to relevant codes, sustainability goals, and project constraints.Mentor and guide junior designers and architects within the studio.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a design leadership role.Proven track record of working on concept and schematic design stages for complex, large-scale projects (commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, cultural, etc.).Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design thinking and high-quality conceptual work.Key Skills & Competencies:Design Leadership: Ability to develop and drive strong design concepts from inception.Creative Thinking: Strong ability to generate unique design ideas that align with client vision and contextual parameters.Visualization Skills: Expertise in producing presentation-quality drawings and imagery.Software Proficiency: Skilled in tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit (preferred).Communication: Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.Team Collaboration: Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environments.Knowledge of Local Context: Familiarity with Dubai/UAE regulations, climate-responsive design, and regional architectural trends is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per monthExperience:* Architectural: 10 years (Required)
