JOB PURPOSE:? Ensure the Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of stored, processed and deliverable information internal to the corporate network and also to the external world.? Review and approve all system access requests? Draft, Implement and review of policies and standards? Selection of Security infrastructure? To ensure strict adherence of Information security & compliance policies and standardsPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:? Define processes to manage the network security.? Review and audit security devices such as firewall, IPS, VPN, access control systems.? Get information on the latest security threats, technologies and tools related to Network/Security infrastructure. Notify users of the latest threats, policy & procedure changes in a timely manner. ? Responsible for security regards to external connectivity. ? Monitor the logs of the critical application and database systems and take corrective actions as appropriate.? Coordinate Penetration tests and vulnerability tests using third party tools and alert the System owner about any issues identified.? Ensure high availability of DR Connectivity for all critical systems.? Define and review access control requirements and processes to ensure appropriate information access across the organization.? Evaluate and recommend appropriate security products as per the new project requirements.? Work with internal and external auditors as and when required. Respond to internal and external audit reports in a timely manner.? Help Develop effective DRP plans to facilitate transition to the backup site in an emergency situation. ? Responsible for custodianship of admin passwords of all systems. ? Review of AMC?s and Contracts? Review and ensure Standards for all Applications and tools? Responsible for the ownership of encryption keys used in the organization? Grant or Revoke system access requests as per Bank policy and procedures.? Ensure the access controls are not being violatedOccasional Responsibilities and Accountabilities :? To assist as required in responding to requests for information or for detailed review from authorities such as the UAE Central Bank, external auditors, or other bodies as notified by Bank?s management.? To participate in seminars and conferences as agreed with Bank management to maintain current with developments in IT services for the financial services industry.JOB CONTEXT:Problem Solving / Complexity / Innovation :? Review of Configuration and policies of communication and security devices ? Review of Configuration and policies of Operating Systems and Internet security systems and Data Storage Systems? Review of configuration and access control matrix of all access control systems? Review of security solutions and architecture and propose innovation as and when new technology becomes availableDecision Making / Authority :? Recommending or approving access control requests? Denying access controls based on violations.
