Job Description

Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence | Retail | DubaiOverview of the roleThe Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst role is to identify the business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs of Al-Futtaim Retail and strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses.This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solutions/reports to end users. The role works closely with various teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.ÿWhat you will do

  • Design, build and deploy new and extend existing dashboards and reports that synthesize distributed data sources
  • Analyse user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications or reports
  • Document the data architecture and environment to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture
  • Interact with the team to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction
  • Manage data through Power BI, MSSQL, MS Access and MS Excel applications, as required and support other analytics platforms
  • Establish links across existing data sources and find new & meaningful mashups
  • Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing dataÿsources
