Senior Accountant ?? VAT10,000 AEDResponsibilities:ACCOUNTS PAYABLEa. Ensure proper recording and verification of vendors invoices for goods and services. This will support timely and adequate responses to vendor queries.b. Ensure vendor payments are verified and routed for approval so that all invoices are processed and enclosed as per company policies.c. Maintain, analyze, and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports to ensure that financial data is correct.d. Forecasting and managing Accounts Payable cash flows to ensure adequate availability of cash for paying the vendors.e. Assuring root cause analysis (RCAs) of errors and non compliant invoices (NCIs) have been performed and corrective actions have been implemented to enhance the efficiency in the process.f. Proactively look for improvements to current processes in order to maintain productivity.g. Ensure equal allocation of work within team and efficiently manage daily volume of invoices and supplier or staff queries.VATa. Prepare and review domestic VAT returns for UAE and other GCC entities.b. Implementing standardized process for VAT Compliancec. Initiate actions for VAT Compliance improvement in processes, systemsd. Managing VAT internal audits: Act as point of contact, dealing with queries and interact with Tax authorities, take action to resolve identified issues.e. Provide on ad hoc support for questions from business partners and end-users, other Tax team members where requiredf. Verify central bank exchange for purpose of VAT are applied on invoices.General:a. Prepare and review domestic WHT returns for Qatar and other GCC entities.b. Assist in interim and annual audit.c. Provide cover during annual leaves.
