Job Description

Job PurposeThe Senior Accountant (Treasury) will lead efforts on multiple core Treasury operations and payments compliance consistent with the company?s policies and procedures. The role holder will proactively take ownership of a range of duties including but not limited to the resolution of banking and financial service inquiries, comprehensive analysis and conclusions on operating and payments activities, and execution of treasury compliance activities related to banking, payments and investments. They will drive the implementation of new processes and systems, documentation of standard operating procedures and other projects as assigned, related to treasury management.?Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure timely recording and reporting of all transactions
  • Oversee and maintain preparation of financial reports for management.
  • Prepare payment schedules and ensure proper accounting
  • Ensure compliance with established internal controls, policies and procedures & Follow treasury operational policies at all times.
  • Maintain commercial bank operations relationships
  • Stay abreast of new bank technologies, products, and services that can improve cash cycle and simplify company operations and make recommendations to management for proposed changes.
  • Assist with accounting, financial reporting and special projects on an as needed basis.
