SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS

Job Description

1. Budgeting and Forecasting - Preparation and consolidation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts until finalization. . Assisting in Preparation of Budget Pack to DPW Head Office, . Payroll Reco., Revenue bridge, expense bridge and PAT bridge preparation . Quarterly reforecast to Head office, including manpower plan, variable cost adjustment, Marketing, IT cost realignment, other overheads and consolidation of revenue reforecast. . Preparation of source data [includes Manning, OPEX] to load in to the Budgeting System, . Consolidating Budget Submission across Departments, . Inter-departmental cost allocations. . Analysis and review of Budget Submission that provides trends and relevant insights for Management recommendation and actions, . Preparation and Distribution of Approved Budget Pack to Departments, . Control of Fusion based planning system: Addressing departments issues with regards to their budget submissions [GL Code creation, Headcount Position/Titles etc]. 2. Management Reporting: Preparation of timely reports which include key financial and statistical analysis and variance reporting. . Flash Reporting to CFO and Head Office, . Assisting in preparation of Monthly Management Pack to Head Office, this includes updating line wise analysis, PL update, Schedule-L variance analysis, AR aging update. . Preparation of Customer Analysis Report to Head Office, . Preparation of Monthly Management Presentation to CFO, . Assisting the team in preparation of Quarterly Board Note . Preparation and distribution of Financial Performance Review (FPR) and Operating & Revenue results to all the departments/divisions and COO of DPW UAE. . Provide Monthly Cost Analysis/transaction details to departments, . Preparation of Shipping Line Wise Report to Commercial Department, NOTE: THE JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT RESTRICT TO THE DUTIES MENTIONED IN SECTION 3. THE JOB HOLDER MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ANY OTHER RELATED TASKS TO MEET DEPARTMENTS OBJECTIVES AS ASSIGNED BY HIS OR HER SUPERIOR . . Provision of KPI results vs target to relevant departments and stakeholders. 3. Monthly Financial Closing: . Review of management accounts, and advising GL team for adjustments and corrections . Analysis and preparation of accounting provision for major expense including Marketing, IT, Labour Hire, FM . Manpower pooling system review: Execution and reconciliation of Non-Payroll Pooling cost allocation in Oracle, . Assisting Revenue Assurance Team in providing them with volume and revenue related analysis for customer related revenue provisions . Managing fusion reporting system with monthly upload of financials, reconciliation and fixation of differences. 4. Project based and adhoc assignments: . Providing financial modelling support to senior management for projects relating to cost control, revenue generation and business analysis . Performing customer related pricing decision analysis. . Analyzing technical maintenance cost, Equipment pooling review for under/over allocations and highlighting inefficiencies. . Manpower pooling analysis for CT and other operation departments. . Assisting adhoc cost exercise requested by departments, . Any task assigned by Manager, Senior Manager and CFO.
