? We are retail and distribution company based in Dubai (Sheikh Zayed) who's looking to hire an ARAB SPEAKING General Accountant to help run the daily task within the accounting department. It is reporting to the Operations Manager and will be a go to person to anything that relates in Accounting for the team. Preferred candidates will have 5-10 years in General Accounting and has a retail and distribution background and has University Accounting related degree.? ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Maintains Files of Local Purchase Orders, Miscellaneous Supplier Invoices, Supplier Account Statements and Contracts & Agreements.2. Monitors and keeps a record of LPO?s and payment advances made against LPOs. 3. Enters Local Supplier Invoices in the General Ledger after verifying budget approvals.4. Record and follow up Debit Notes & Invoices for Miscellaneous Recoveries.5. Preparation of Debit Note and Credit Note against Various Supplier Invoices.6. Tracking LPO terms and matching invoice department wise.7. Issuing Debit Note and Credit Note to sister Companies at the end of every month.8. Maintaining Check List to track Payable/Receivable Invoice from Various Departments.9. Keeping Schedule of annual maintenance contract for timely checking.10. Monitoring various accrued expenses to account various supplier invoices etc.11. Passing Journal entries for accrual of various expenses at the end of every month.12. Passing Journal entries for transfer of accounts.13. Preparing aging report of Invoices for payment.14. Maintaining Record of Payment Schedule.15. Intercompany/Sister companies balance reconciliation with their statement.16. Profit & Loss Reporting17. Balance Sheets18. Financial Statement19. Cash Flow reporting20. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
