Assist the?Department Head and Finance Manager in providing financial accounting services internally and externally. Finalize and prepare the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial statements. Create the forecasts and budgets based on the information received form the other departments. Support producing ERP reports to support the planning decision making process.
Close periodical accounts within the targeted dates and deadlines.
Review general ledger (GL) and the financial data on periodical basis (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually). Check and pass periodical adjustment and closing entries.
Create the forecasts and budgets based on the information received form the other departments, and conduct variance analysis of actual expenditures against budget reports.
Prepare financial statements and ERP reports for decision support and planning on a periodical basis as required.
Support the finance manager and other heads of departments with in-depth analyses of financial data for planning and other operational requirements.
Prepare the financial schedules for the audit.
Liaise with the external (statutory) auditors to complete the audit within the given timeframes. Analyze current and past financial trends in business KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
