We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant RUSSIAN SPEAKER with over 10 years of experience, specifically in the construction industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations, P&L statements, and project-specific finances. Experience working in Dubai is essential.Key Responsibilities:??ÿ?Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.??ÿ?Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.??ÿ?Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.??ÿ?Oversee project-specific finances, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and revenues for each project.??ÿ?Prepare P&L statements and ensure proper financial management of each project.??ÿ?Support month-end and year-end close processes.??ÿ?Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.??ÿ?Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.??ÿ?Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.??ÿ?Provide technical support and advice on management accounting.??ÿ?Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.??ÿ?Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.??ÿ?Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.??ÿ?Provide input into the department?s goal-setting process.??ÿ?Assist with tax audits and tax returns.??ÿ?Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.??ÿ?Plan, assign, and review staff?s work.??ÿ?Support and train staff on accounting principles and company policies.
