Job Description

Reporting to:Business Manager | CFO on the functional levelPurpose and Objective:Responsible for management of schools? Finances, Accounts, Audits Systems & Procedures, Banking, Working Capital Management, Inventory Control/Management, Payroll Management, Budgeting and Credit Control Management.Maintain the Financial Data and Records of the schools in a precise and accurate manner in accordance with International Accounting Standards and Procedures and furnish the required information to the school?s management as required.Job description:

  • Manage financial reporting processes and responsibilities for the submission of monthly reports.
  • Responsible for the preparation of Annual Budgets and implementation of budgetary control system.
  • Monitor and provide periodic feedback to all departments on performance against budget.
  • Provide finance and accounting support services to all the departments, and assist the management in financial analysis.
  • Review Receivables and Ageing Payables to formulate collection and payment strategies.
  • Coordinate with Procurement in the negotiations of payment terms with suppliers/subcontractors to optimize cash flow.
  • Ensures accuracy and timely completion of accounting data.
  • Interact with external auditors to produce the school?s financial statements and tax returns and attend to audit queries.
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts on monthly basis
  • Maintain fixed asset schedule and plan effective inventory control mechanisms. ? Responsible for the training and development of junior personnel in the Accounts function.
