Sea Freight ManagerResponsibilities•Coordinate and manage sea freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.•Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other third-party service providers to arrange bookings and secure space on vessels.•Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations.•Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.•Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipping process, working to resolve them promptly and efficiently.•Maintain accurate records of all shipments and related activities in the company’s logistics management system.•Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with carriers and service providers to optimize cost savings.•Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and trade laws.•Collaborate with other departments, including warehousing, transportation, and customer service, to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.•Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.Requirements:•Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sea freight shipping or a similar role within the logistics industry.•Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and service providers.•Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite.•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.•Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.📠Location : Dubai
