Job Description

As an experienced Technology Project Manager and Scrum Master, you will be joining the Cigna technology team supporting the Middle East region. The initial assignment for the role is to lead the technology delivery workstream, as part of a major project that is responsible for enabling our business to expand into a new market within the region. The project scope includes opening a local office, provisioning application and data hosting and developing/delivering a suite of applications (in-house developed and vendor products) that need to be tailored for the local market. You?ll be responsible for managing manage multiple workstreams within your delivery plan and be leading a team of resources primarily based in Dubai but also in other supporting locations around the globe.Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing, directing and planning highly-complex projects, consisting of one or more project teams.
• Formulates project plans, schedules, resource plans and budgets.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives.
• Holds regular technical team meetings and agile stand ups to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
• Facilitates communication with leadership and other key stakeholders, to keep them up to date on milestones, overall project health and status
• Works with functional departments and stakeholders to coordinate User Acceptance testing, installation, training and support.
• Identifies dependencies, risks and issues. Develops mitigation strategies to limit impact on project

Essential:

• Extensive experience as a Technology project manager working within an enterprise level organization
• Proven track record in delivering complex, multi workstream technology projects within a financial services domain
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to Influence, mentor and focus on results
• Ability to navigate a fast paced, highly matrixed organization effectively
• Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
• Proven ability to present and communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
• A proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity

Desirable:

• Scrum and SAFe certifications is a plus
• A member of a recognised project and programme management institute/professional body
