Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:To assist the school doctor and ensure complete care and wellbeing of the students along with maintaining a healthy school environment.?KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:Description of the Accountability:

  • Assist in the physical examination (health screening, First aid, emergency care of students)
  • Cooperate with DHA inspectors, school health services and health regulation and provide requested documentation / files and statistics
  • Maintain, evaluate and interpret
  • Cumulative health data to accommodate individual needs of students
  • Student records in accordance with the DHA guidelines, thus providing efficient retrieval of information and other related archival as and when required
  • Coordinate school and community health activities and serve as a liaison health professional between the home, school and community
  • Assist or Deliver in the Health Education classes to the staff and students
  • Identify the students with chronic medical conditions in the School
  • Develop liaison with health authorities and keep abreast of existing and new regulations that govern schools
  • Well versed with written protocols and regulatory procedures
  • Participate in initiatives with Child Protection (address any health/wellbeing alert) in collaboration with the Inclusion department
  • Provide timely vaccinations and maintain inventory for the clinic (consumables/pharmaceuticals)
  • Be present at the school events / sports meet to ensure student safety , administering First aid whenever necessary
