Scaffolding Design Engineer |AFET| Dubai,UAEOverview of the role:This position operates within the context of providing full support to the Scaffolding Sales, Estimation, and Operation team, producing estimates of job scopes/BOQ?s for tendering purpose, and providing suitable designs and calculations for scaffolding and access solutions offered, and in carrying out the works in line with Industry standards, in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner.ÿWhat you will do:?ÿÿÿLiaise with Sales & Estimation team and understand full project requirements by proper evaluation and estimation of scope and requirements?ÿÿÿProvide dimensions/BOQ to estimations team to support tender/quote preparation?ÿÿÿProvide optimal, value-engineered access solutions that support the job bid?ÿÿÿPrepare detailed scaffolding layouts and accurate design calculations based on Client / Site requirement, conforming to the industry standards.ÿ?ÿÿÿCoordinate with the Logistics department to ensure maximum utilization of available stock?ÿÿÿEnsure all scaffolding solutions offered comply with company and country standards for quality and safety?ÿÿÿShall note all hazards and safety concerns when surveying a project to assist the Safety representative in preparing the Risk Assessments?ÿÿÿResponsible for safety compliance of self when visiting sites?ÿÿÿStay up to date with all local/country and industry best practice regulations and legislations with regards to technical requirements and QHSE?ÿÿÿMaintain and develop comprehensive technical knowledge of products and services offering.
