Many utilities realize they will need a transition from traditional business models in to the digital age, using technologies and concepts like Grid Optimization, IT/OT integration, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Advanced Management Systems (ADMS).As a Senior Consultant for DNV you will be involved in crucial developments and changes that our utility customers are facing and in the area of digital transformation of their OT (operational technology) solutions. You will mainly work in projects for, and develop our business at, utilities and manufacturers in SEMELA region (South Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America). You will deliver high quality and concrete results for our customers, such as creating an IT/OT goal architecture landscape that supports customers in the field of distribution and transmission operation, SCADA/EMS/DMS and GIS.Position Qualifications

  • A Master?s degree in Computer Science, Business IT and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the energy industry.
  • Knowledge and experience related to SCADA, DMS, EMS, AMI integration, MDM and/or Utility Telecommunication.
  • Knowledge/experience with cybersecurity, Data Management, and/or the Common Information Model
  • Knowledge/Experience in outlining, writing, and delivering service proposals, whether in response to utility client requests (e.g., RFPs) or through unsolicited business development activity
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with procurement procedures of technical systems.
  • Able to write clear and high quality reports and commercial offers.
  • Your English language skill is strong, verbal and in writing.
  • Available to travel (inter)nationally on a regular basis (20-30 %).
  • You are able to work independently, are goal-oriented and have a flexible attitude.
