Sales Manager Responsibilities:Job Purpose:1. The sales manager works in coordinating operations, delivering a properservice to customers and optimizing the financial results of servicesassigned.2. Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensuresattainment of company sales targets and profitability3. Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective searchof sales leads and prospects4. Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate newmarkets.5. Follow up with the agents for the booking6. Preparing schedules7. Circulating schedule to Customers and to agents8. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans asneeded9. Provides monthly Sales Report to General Manager regarding salesperformance.10. Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reportssubmitted by Account Executives.11. Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines12. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethicscodes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented withinthe team.13. Maintains contact with all clients in the market to ensure high levelsof client satisfaction14. Handles customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner15. Provides guidance and support to the logistics team on a daily basis16. Training and development of the operations team includingperformance evaluations.
