The key objectives of this role are to identify and develop opportunities in raw material trading in the Middle East and North Africa. The position will also play an essential role in bringing fresh ideas and insights to the team, and supporting other teams in achieving their objectives.The candidate has a strong commercial background and a track record in sales operations with steel mills, in the metallurgical industry. Fluent English is required. A high level of integrity and experience working in a multinational environment is also essential.In this position you will:ú Develop new customers mainly in the Middle East and North Africa - work autonomously to spot and cultivate key accounts and achieve our sales targets.ú Promote and sell raw materials (ferroalloys) across various industries. This includes but is not limited to ferroalloys, chemical, and metallurgical products e.g. metal powders, and rare earth.ú Control your costs (travelling etc).ú Manage customer/supplier expectations while coordinating with internal teams (marketing, engineering, accounting, financing).ú Report to the management team.ú Set up a desk and develop a necessary team to fulfil a regional management role in the futureThe professional profile includes:ú University degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the ferroalloy industryú Experience and/or knowledge in the metallurgy preferredú Proven passion for results-driven sales, and a keen eye for new opportunitiesú Experience in coordinating teams and meeting deadlinesú Good team player, who takes the initiativeú Fluency in English (verbal and written) requiredú Another language would be a plusú Technical knowledge of metallurgy and the steel industryú Being able to travel frequentlyYou work within an inspiring teamwork culture ? where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across regions and divisions.The products are:
