Job Description

The Sales Executive in the Freight Forwarding sector is a pivotal role that focuses on driving sales and fostering relationships within the shipping industry. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong understanding of logistics and have a passion for sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive approach to sales and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve business goals.Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  3. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  4. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
  5. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  8. Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company.
  9. Provide feedback to management on sales strategies and customer preferences.
  10. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Proven track record in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  7. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Willingness to travel as required.
  10. Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
