COMPANY BACKGROUND & PURPOSE OF POSITION:A company specialized in selling Innovative Constructions Materials through Contractors, Consultants, Interior Designers and specialized applicators ? is seeking to appoint SALES ENGINEER to work alongside the Managing Director and Sales Team in a tactically oriented function to maximize income and achieve sales target. The candidate should be ready to join immediately and will need to be bright, hands-on, flexible and with strong communication skills both oral and written.REQUIREMENTS & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:?Diploma / Bachelor?s degree preferably Civil Engineering/ Interior or Architecture.?3+ years prior work experience in Sales, Business Development, experience on Expansion and Movement Joints, Sealants, Wall Protection, Entrance Matts, Stair Nosing and Carpentry & Fit out.?Demonstrated results in meeting sales quotas or business development goals.?Coordinate all aspects of the sales process from initial enquiry/RFQ through closing of the opportunity?Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments.?Lead the development and preparation of Pre-Qualification files, formal presentations, submittal proposal, and contracts.?Ability to read technical drawings, proficient with following computer applications: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, AutoCAD and should be versatile in preparing business reports to Management.?Develop solid, long-term relationships with prospects and maintain existing customer?s/ developer?s relationship within the commercial construction industry.?Follow up with the client along the execution of the project.
