Job Description

Our English language institute is a small boutique education provider in JLT, Dubai - Owned and run by British and New Zealand owners. We pride ourselves on being a fun, friendly organisation that delivers unparalleled levels of English language training. Students come from all over the world to join our courses and improve their English. We are also a fantastic place to work. We have an extremely low turnover rate, so new job opportunities at our institute are very rare.We are looking for a hard-working, motivated, friendly individual to join our student coordinator/sales team. The job involves a wide range of tasks including sales, student enrolment, administration, social activities and much more. The main roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:Sales

  • Explaining course options, answering questions, taking payments
  • Receiving walk-in customers, and enquiries over the phone/internet
  • Contacting new leads, and following up with older leads to bringing in new sales
  • Contacting finishing students and processing their repeat sales
  • Contacting old students and encouraging them to rejoin the courses
  • Entering the relevant sales data into internal systems
Course Coordination
  • Giving written and spoken placement tests to students and interpreting the results
  • Putting students into their correct levels and groups based on their needs
  • Processing new breaks and enrolling students returning from breaks
  • Coordinating between private students and teachers and managing room bookings
  • Entering new enrolments and updating the systems with any changes
Social Activities
  • Planning, scheduling and hosting weekly social activities with our current students
  • Negotiating deals with restaurants and activity providers
  • Promoting the activities to our current students and teachers, and overseeing bookings
  • Taking photos and posting on our social media platforms
Student Feedback
  • Requesting monthly feedback from current students through WhatsApp
  • Compiling feedback and passing it to the relevant people
  • Encouraging online reviews
  • Following up on any unsatisfactory feedback and resolving issues where possible
  • Identifying potential problems
