Job Description

Roads & Utilities Design Manager BWP are presently representing the lead contractor on a major rail project in the UAE. They have an opening for a Utilities & Roads Design Manager to start immediately. Reporting directly to the Technical Director the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering
  • 10 years experience
  • Evaluate design drawings submitted by project designer and ensure that the designs are within the standard and specification
  • Look for opportunities to optimize the design with the most cost effective in line with Authorities standard requirements ?
  • Drive consultant team to provide innovative design solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of district cooling, potable water, irrigation, sewerage, storm water drainage networks, MV electrical, telecommunications, street lighting design as per standard codes, DM & RTA regulation
  • Current Dubai experience and working on RTA projects.
  • Working experience for major Engineering Consultants
  • Familiarity with NOC Permitting process
