Under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Revenue, the Revenue Executive is supporting the operations of the Revenue Department, internal and external communication, and ensuring that all Financial targets are reached through maximization of booking opportunities for each of the DFC properties, for all relevant revenue streams.Key Operational Duties

  • Develop strong relationships with but not limited to the following departments; Sales, C&E, Reservations, Front Office, Finance & Food & Beverage
  • Communicate & follow up with operational departments on any corrective action after review of daily morning reports with revenue team
  • Compile & distribute daily, weekly & monthly reports as required
  • Update & maintain daily SBRP & other revenue tools as required
  • Update & maintain external 3rd party statistics sites ie? STR, DTCM, extranets
  • Assist with updating all information & content on internal & external systems & channels
  • Develop & maintain an electronic competitor information data base including hotel company history, branding, business relationships, products & services, loyalty clubs, discounting & online exposure and activity etc?
  • Co-ordinate & conduct site inspections of our hotels for the competitors & vice versa.
  • Attend all revenue related meetings ensuring minutes are recorded & distributed within 24 hrs of meeting finish
  • Assist with compiling all necessary reports, analysis & information prior to any meetings
  • Keep up to date all forecasting tools
  • Ensure correct set up and usage of Rate Categories/Codes, Package Elements, Market Segmentation, Source of Booking and Geographical origin codes in PMS & therefore reservations by all departments.
  • Monitor and determine demand periods for F&B outlets, function space, rooms and catering through an analysis of historical data and current bookings. Responsible for tracking and analyzing of booking pace, group wash, cut off enforcement for groups as well as denied and regretted business from all channels.
  • Any other duties or tasks as directed by the Director of Revenue that assist & support hotel operations
Administration
  • To communicate and correspond with all our external partners, with professionalism, respect and understanding. You must appreciate that our clients are key to our business
  • To lead by example through a passionate, supportive, hands on approach
  • To process all reports that monitor all bookings and standards of the department and to follow up accordingly.
  • Communication is the key ? help us to help you. Identify your own training needs and communicate them to your Revenue Manager of any challenges that you are facing
Ideally, youll have some or all of the following competencies and experience were looking for:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Hotel operations role, including Revenue or Reservation
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems
  • Advanced in writing and speaking English.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and consultation skills
  • Experience on Opera
