Roles & ResponsibilitiesOversee and be responsible for the daily sales operations and general functions.Ensure maximum savings by reducing sales operational expenses.Monthly sales target and Sales budget achievement analysis and take necessary steps to achievethe sales target.Guide and supervise all Sales department employees for achieving the sales target.Random pricing checks of the products.Keep record and enter relevant information of damaged / soiled goods.Minimize shrinkage in line with targets.Liaise with Sales Manager on stock related queries and requirements.To be on alert to identify any potential theft / suspicious people / transactions and suggestnecessary actions to the management whenever required.Communicate effectively with customers and ensure that a polite and a pleasant shoppingexperience is provided to the customer.Take ownership and effectively deal with customer requests queries and complaints andtake necessary action from feedbackEnsuring customer service is of high standard, and take corrective action if requiredEnsure prompt and effective replenishing of merchandise in store and also the effective spaceutilization.Ensure all stock transactions are recorded on time, accurately and correctly categorized.Conduct stock counts as per requirement.Ensure all sales, promotions are planned effectively, executed and maintained professionallyAnalyze the customer profile and provide feedback to the ManagementTaking care and represent the company in case of any Government authority inspection in theStore.Submit brief Weekly / Monthly reports to the Sales Manager covering all aspects of, Salesperformance, Stock positions and concerns, Special events and promotionsReview and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over- and under stocks, suggestingcorrective action.Implement correct procedures to return stock to the sales floor, warehouse, manufacturer orother stores.Ensure visual merchandising standards as per requirement
