Allocate seating of guest so as to balance the number of tables for each station. Always consider the serving capability of the food Server.
Accurately accept reservations and be responsible for the daily total guest count.
Inspect equipment and linen supply in room to see that everything is in order.
Check service to see if guests are satisfied.
Report any difficulties, compliments or complaints to the Restaurant Manager or Assistance Manager.
Read, maintain and make entries in the daily log.
Issuing of all guest checks to Food Servers.
Cleanliness, maintenance and order of menus and wine lists.
Check the cleanliness of carpets, furniture, windows, curtains and walls within the restaurant prior to service commencement.
Answer the telephone and take messages for guests.
Provide guests with information about the restaurant.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
