Researcher: Health Technology and Innovation*Please wait...*MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB* This position engages in research activities at various levels ( primary research design and implementation, contribute to research projects as part of a team, conduct secondary research / evidence analysis, innovation scouting and horizon scanning to inform priorities for digital, innovation and clinical projects) with a particular focus on health technology and innovation, medical devices and wearables, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, digitisation, automation and the re-contextualisation of healthcare. * Evaluation of digital health, health technology and innovation, artificial intelligence, machine learning * Evidence searches and horizon scanning * Knowledge and interpretation of randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews, cohort studies, case-controlled studies * Understanding complex health models * Medical device research * Clinical and research ethics knowledge * Knowledge of Design Thinking and innovation frameworks * New product and service development and innovation * Private healthcare operational processes*REQUIRED EDUCATION* ESSENTIAL EDUCATION * A science or health degree (Bachelors or equivalent) with a focus on digital and innovation. * Formal research training (good clinical practice, research methodologies, data analysis, research ethics DESIRED EDUCATION * Post-graduate university research degree in an area of health practice, healthcare research and/ or health innovation*REQUIRED EXPERIENCE* ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE * Experience within a healthcare or health technology or innovation environment * Experience and a high-level working knowledge of the evaluation of digital health, health technology and innovation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, medical device research as well as new product and service development and innovation * Fluent in academic English (spoken, written, read) DESIRED EXPERIENCE * Experience working in a multinational, multicultural context * Experience working with contract research organisations, decentralised / remote clinical studies * Experience working in an innovation and research context * Can converse (spoken/ written) on further official languages of the territories we operate in (German, and/ or French, and/ or Arabic, and/ or Afrikaans)*REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE* * Clinical and research ethics knowledge * Evaluation of digital health, health technology and innovation, artificial intelligence, machine learning * Evidence searches and horizon scanning * Knowledge and interpretation of randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews, cohort studies, case-controlled studies * Knowledge of Design Thinking and innovation frameworks * Medical device research * New product and service development and innovation * Private healthcare operational processes * Understanding complex health models*Join our Talent Community* Become a part of our Talent Community and we will get in touch with you as soon as there is a relevant opening that fits your skills, interests and experience.
