PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:? Development of new product repairs and providing thetechnical expertise and experience necessary to make engineeringdecisions regarding repair design activities, in accordance with companyspecifications, drawings and qualification procedures.? Provides technical training support or mentoring for repairdevelopment and metallurgical analysis.? Prepares engineering reports and data packages for repairdevelopment substantiation and approval? Supports resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) andimplementation of corrective and preventive actions? Initiates improvements toward product and repair relatedefficiencies.SPECIFIC TASKS:? Creation of Repair / Product specific work instructiondocumentation and application of repair control techniques? Repair parameter development for both Welding and Brazingand laboratory evaluation and subsequent interpretation leading toprogramme and parameter adjustments.? The ability to manage and achieve a First Article Inspection(FAI) qualification through a dedicated approved procedure.? Initiates improvements toward product and repair relatedefficiencies.? Training of Welders and quality control teams.? Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned orrequested.?
