Purpose of the Job:To maximize availability and performance of rental assets and to provide technical assistance and support to all Aggreko Middle East Depots.Key Responsibilities:? Oversee mobilization, installation & commissioning phase of the project ensuring completion in accordance with Aggreko standards and procedures.? Complete all commissioning documentation and handover commissioned projects to the Depot's Service Manager.? Undertake M0 Retrofit Works, maintain accurate records and proactively plan future retrofit campaigns? Evaluate and produce technical/component specific reports on new/existing fleet assets.? Undertake cable terminations and testing above 1000v whenever required but not limited to.? Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.? Provide technical instruction and mentoring to potential LV or HV-S/M/I/C candidates from within the local AME depot business.? React effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.? Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.? Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.Person Specification? Bachelor Degree in Electrical or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience? ECAM HV-S/M/I/C Authorized Person with endorsements specific to Aggreko Electrical Equipment (AEE) A1, B1 & B2 as a minimum? Minimum five years of experience in Power generation or other related fields? Has extensive knowledge and experience in power generation, preferably in diesel and gas applications.? Availability to travel as and when required? Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business? Office based job but requires frequent visits to the siteDesired Skills? 3 + years relevant experience? Proficiency in local language? Cross cultural work experience is advantageous? High level of knowledge on diesel powered generators and anxiliary equipment? Knowledge of gas powered generators is advantageous? Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office suite? High level of technical knowledge, used to lead, supervise and inform others for work on power systems apparatus? Able to manage complex engineering solutions, guide and supervise others for work in power system environments? Able to make complex technical decisions, manage and supervise others to carry out engineering activities? Able to guide and instruct others with detailed levels of technical knowledge relating to the role of planning and supervising activities? Lead others in HSE arrangements, take overall responsibility for influencing and raising own and other HSE standards? High level of commitment and loyalty? Quality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines? Capable of working on his/her own initiative?
